There are so many factors to consider when it comes to choosing a driving instructor.
First and foremost - price - the cheapest is not always the best. In fact more than likely, it will be a poor quality lessons.
To provide cheap lessons, the instructor will try to reduce his/her costs by parking up and talking to reduce fuel costs and damage to his/her vehicle.
It is important that your instructor is a fully qualified ADI (approved driving instructor) amd displays his/her green badge. It is not illegal for trainee instructors to be out on the road teaching. A lot of schools will employ trainee instructors - hence the cheap lessons.
You must be comfortable with your driving instructor and feel at ease. A stressful time such as learning to drive can seem all the more tense if you are uneasy with your driving instructor.
A good driving instructor will usually have a lot of experience under their belt.
