White Lines - Intensive Driving Courses Leeds - Intensive Driving Lessons Leeds
We covered broken white lines in a previous blog recently, but below is a brief summar again:
BROKEN WHITE LINES - indicate the centre of the road. If the length of the broken white line increases, it indicates a hazard ahead.
DOUBLE WHITE LINES WHERE THE LINE CLOSEST TO YOU IS BROKEN - you may overtake here if the road ahead is clear and it is safe to do so.
DOUBLE WHITE LINES WHERE THE LINE CLOSEST TO YOU IS SOLID - you can NOT straddle across this line, unless there is a need, such as turning right or a vehicle broken down on your side of the road.
During our intensive driving courses and driving lessons in Leeds our automatic driving instructors will cover the rules for various lines, their meanings and what you as a driver will need to to.
